Why is it that Bible study seems so boring to people these days? Because Satan has filled our lives with television and blockbuster movies, and all the sensual pleasures of the world!
Let me give you a friendly warning, because it's really time to wake up the sleeping church: Do whatever it takes to change your lifestyle, so that you are spending more time with God, than on other things. If it means you have to throw your TV out, then do it. If it means you have to throw the computer games out, then do it. If it means you have to put those story books away, then do it. If it means putting down your cell phone for a few hours then do it. Then you can get your Bible out and study the Word of God. You can get on your knees and pray. You can sit down at the table and have nice family meals, talking with each other. You can go out for nice walks and enjoy God's creation. You can be a witness for Jesus to others. Do these things, seek the Lord with all your heart and soul, and your life will take on a whole new meaning. Stop trying to please the world and yourself, and focus on pleasing God, He is the one that counts, don’t you think so?. If you are a professing Christian, and you say you wouldn't know what you would do if many of the worldly things like television, games, sport, cinema, texting on the cell phone for hours on end, etc, were taken off you, then you need to wake up and reconsider what Christ did for you.
Matthew 7:21 ...'Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.' ..

WHY DO MANY CHRISTIAN NOT LIKE WITNESSING?
Jesus sent his disciples to the homes of the people [Matt10:7,11-13] "Paul said regarding his ministry:'I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house." [Acts 20:20,21 also 5:42.]
The Great Commission instructs us to make disciples while we are going throughout the world and while we are going about our daily activities. How are we to make disciples? By baptizing them and teaching them all that Jesus commanded.
Why is it that only cults like Mormons and Jehovah's witnesses come to your door? Why don't Christians come around and share the gospel?
SOME REASONS WHY
Fear. The fear of being ridiculed, disapproved and persecuted by the world, especially those close to us and those who have authority over us like parents, spouses and bosses.
They don't feel or think that they are qualified.
They want to keep their jobs. Just to keep their jobs, Christians have negated the Great Commission.
Complacency, lack of compassion and passion, spiritual laziness Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Too many worry about "political correctness". It's not politically correct anymore to share your faith. It is more important to me what God thinks about me than what people think of me
Influenced by worldly culture. Because they have believed the lie that they are "pushing" their beliefs on someone. They think belief is a private matter instead of going out to make disciples.
A lack of training and don't know how to share. I believe it's because they weren't informed about the true meaning and responsibility of being a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ. For many no solid teaching in the church and it leaves everyone ill equipped, so they are afraid of not-knowing how to answer the questions that the nonbelievers are going to ask.
They don't see the example from Church leaders. They never see their own pastors leave the desk, office or pulpit and set the example. Another is because churches do not do much of street evangelism anymore or encourage evangelism.
They believed some false beliefs. There is the belief that many not-really evangelicals have that everyone is going to be saved, that in the New Testament, God no longer judges sin, that grace means that we get to sin freely, etc. Why witness if you can just say a little prayer and you have a place in heaven. Everyone can do it and continue life as before
